2023 Award of Excellence General Design: Leach Botanical Garden
Excellence in Public Garden Design
Land Morphology received an Award of Excellence from the Washington Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects for the design of Leach Botanical Garden.
The $12.6 million first phase of redevelopment reimagines this 17.3-acre public garden—owned by Portland Parks & Recreation—as both a cultural landmark and an environmental asset. Located in an underserved Southeast Portland neighborhood, the revitalized garden invites new and returning visitors to connect with nature, ecology, and community in meaningful ways.
