Clyde hill
Clyde Hill, Washington
The garden at Clyde Hill draws inspiration from traditional design, balancing structure with vibrant personality. Upon arrival, visitors are welcomed by a generous auto court framed by lush planting beds. Our client embraces color with joyful confidence: robin’s egg blue gates on either side of the home open to a serene back garden sanctuary, where an arbor with lattice panels—painted in soft pink hues—creates a charming focal point.
Over time, climbing roses will drape across the arbor and trellises, adding layers of texture and fragrance. Boxwood topiaries in pots punctuate the space, while a lead water feature anchors the arbor terrace and offers a focal view from the home. A broad lawn provides room for children to play, and thoughtfully selected furnishings invite comfortable lounging and gathering.
This Arts and Crafts–inspired garden is still in its early stages, but its evolving tapestry of roses and trained shrubs promises a lush and timeless retreat. We look forward to watching it flourish.
