Historic Terrace Garden
This home was originally designed in 1910 by one of Seattle’s most influential architects, Carl Frelinghuysen Gould. Along with a renovation to the home, the garden has been thoughtfully renewed to complement the home’s legacy. A new pool was added to the upper terrace, where sweeping 270-degree views capture downtown Seattle, Queen Anne Hill, and Lake Union.
Simple, elegant elements respect the property’s historic character while framing the dramatic panorama. Additional terraces were reimagined to accommodate both entertaining and family play, creating a landscape that is timeless, functional, and seamlessly connected to the home.
