2025 Merit Award for Residential Design: Shore Blocks - Re-imaging Human and Habitat Connections to Lake Washington

Excellence in Public Garden Design
Land Morphology received a Merit Award for Residential Design from the Washington Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects for the design of Shore Blocks.

The modern cove restoration project creatively utilizes Valdes sandstone blocks from British Columbia as a unique approach to shore armoring. The block forms are seamlessly reflected in the garden's paving patterns and the home's architectural features, establishing a cohesive and harmonious design throughout the linear garden.
