Hidden cove
Seattle, Washington
Tranquility
Hidden Cove unites Japanese garden traditions with modern architectural design. Inspired by Tea, Stroll, and Temple gardens, it reinterprets these timeless forms to complement the residence’s contemporary style. A flowing stream with waterfalls and ponds anchors the space, where floating pavers guide visitors through a meditative journey.
Every view is intentionally framed as living art—sculptural specimen trees, shimmering water, and weathered stone create tranquil vignettes from the entrance fountain to intimate courtyard scenes. The owner’s prized bonsai and specimen collection, curated like botanical sculptures, elevate the garden into a gallery of nature.
Accented by antique lanterns, an outdoor fireplace, and an inviting terrace, the garden seamlessly blends cultural inspiration, natural beauty, and modern function—an immersive sanctuary for reflection and connection
